How KokoroFlow handles affiliate links and commercial relationships — where they appear, where they don't, and what they mean for you.
What an affiliate link is
An affiliate link is a tracked link to a product or service. If you follow one and go on to buy something, the retailer may pay a small commission to the site that referred you.
It never costs you more. The price you pay is the same as it would be if you had gone to the retailer directly. The commission comes out of the retailer's margin, not your wallet.
Where affiliate links may appear
KokoroFlow includes a separate lifestyle section at kokoroflow.net/evelyn which recommends consumer products and does use affiliate links, including the Amazon Associates programme.
As an Amazon Associate, KokoroFlow earns from qualifying purchases. Product pages in that section are labelled, and the disclosure also appears on the page itself rather than only here.
How recommendations are chosen
- Commission rate is not a factor in whether a product is included or how it is described.
- Recommendations are based on publicly verifiable information such as specifications, official ratings, and aggregate customer reviews.
- Where a recommendation is curated from published sources rather than personal long-term use, it is presented that way — not as a first-hand endorsement.
- Known drawbacks and trade-offs are stated alongside the reasons a product is included.
What this does not affect
Calculator results, formulas, assumptions, and limitations are never influenced by a commercial relationship. No advertiser or retailer pays for placement inside a calculation, and results are not adjusted to steer you toward any product.
Advertising, where present, is kept visually separate from tool controls and results, as described in our Privacy Policy.
AI-assisted content
Some content in the lifestyle section is produced with AI assistance, including imagery and written copy. Where a platform provides an AI-content label, we use it. Product recommendations in that section are presented as curated selections rather than as personal accounts of first-hand use.
Your choices
You are never required to use an affiliate link. You can search for any product we mention directly on the retailer's site, and the price and availability will be identical.
