Privacy, formats, and limits

- Input: JPG/JPEG, PNG, and WebP supported by your browser.
- Output: JPG, PNG, or WebP.
- Size: No fixed server limit. Available device memory is the practical limit; large batches may fail on mobile devices.
- PNG is lossless and does not use the quality slider. Animated images become one still frame.

A 4,000 × 3,000 JPG intended for a blog can be limited to 2,000 × 1,500 pixels and saved as WebP at 80% quality. The exact file-size reduction depends on the original image.

Will compression reduce image quality?
Lossy JPG and WebP compression can soften fine detail, especially at low quality settings. Keep the original and inspect the downloaded result.
Can this make a blurry image sharper?
No. Compression and resizing cannot restore detail that is missing from the source image.
Why is the PNG not much smaller?
